My StorY

I am a mom of 3 grown children, wife of 30 years, longtime product manager, perpetual student, on-the-go traveler, curious mentor and coach. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs. When I visited the Bay area in my 20s, I realized that I did not need to endure another frigid winter and have lived in the San Jose area ever since.

I've experienced career highs and lows. Resilience is a theme that weaves through my career: as the primary breadwinner, getting laid off on my daughter's 1st birthday with 2 weeks severance, passed over for promotions, ghosted by hiring managers, being told that I didn't have what it takes. And sometimes my imposter syndrome crept in, and I wondered if I actually did have what it takes.

I pursued coaching after working with a fantastic career coach who helped me grow my skills and my self-confidence. I discussed topics with my coach that I hadn't discussed with anyone else, and I learned so much. I began volunteering as a coach with Google's internal program, which led to obtaining a coaching certification. 

​
